  • Do I need to pay any registration fee on Areno?
  • No, you need not pay any upfront fee on Areno to register. Registration is completely free.
  • Do I get to perform any work-out on Areno for free?
  • Yes, you can perform work-outs using practice challenges for any number of times.
  • Do I get to earn if I perform work-out using practice challenges?
  • Yes, you can earn points for working out regularly in a month which would be paid out to you at the end of the month.
  • What is a streak in Areno?
  • A streak in Areno is the number of days in a month where you have participated in a practice or point challenge.
  • How many points will I get to work-out regularly or build streaks?
  • What is a point challenge?
  • Point challenges are competition-based challenges which require Areno points to be used for participation. These points can be earned through registration, referrals and practice challenges.
  • Why should I participate in point challenges?
  • Point challenges is a great way to multiply your Areno points that you have used for participation. You can potentially earn up to 100X of your participation points.
  • What is an ongoing point challenge?
  • An ongoing point challenge is one that has started but you can participate in up to the join by date.
  • What is an upcoming point challenge?
  • An upcoming point challenge is one that has not yet started but you can register in advance for so that you do not miss out on the opportunity to participate.
  • Why I cannot join an ongoing challenge?
  • You can only join an ongoing challenge up to the “Join by” date.
  • What is the significance of end date in a challenge?
  • You cannot start a new attempt for a challenge after the end date has passed however in event you are already in between an attempt when the end date is passed, you will be allowed to complete that attempt and it will be recorded in that challenge.
  • When will I get paid?
  • For point challenges, you will be paid in Areno points within 24 hrs after the challenge end date. For daily streaks, you will be paid immediately as soon as you complete the first workout in the day.
  • Why have I not got my referral points yet?
  • If you have referred a user who has registered on Areno, you need to ensure that the referred user does at least 1 workout attempt on any ongoing point challenge. Only then will both of you get the referral bonus points mentioned on the app.
  • What are my Areno points worth?
  • Your Areno points can be redeemed for cash vouchers or charity. This can be done by clicking on the displayed points in app and then clicking on “Redeem Points”. At present, 1000 pts = Rs. 100 in the app, but this conversion is subject to change and can vary from one voucher to another.
  • Where can I see my completed challenges?
  • The list of completed challenges is visible on your app dashboard along with your final rank and points won from the challenge.
  • Why is my workout not starting?
  • To start any workout, following these steps:
    • Keep the mobile in appropriate position (portrait for squats, high knees and landscape for planks, push-ups)
    • Place the mobile with support of wall or any object
    • Tilt the phone such that the text on camera turns green
    • Come fully within the frame
    • Raise your elbow above your eye level and hold for 3-4 secs
    • The countdown will start for you to get ready
    • Once countdown ends, you can begin your workout
  • Why are my squats reps not getting counted properly?
  • For squats, please ensure the below aspects are followed:
    • Perform squats facing the camera and keeping the mobile in portrait position
    • Keep your knees apart and not joined together
    • Go down fully and come back up fully in standing position
    • Throughout the workout, make sure that your complete body is within the frame
    • Make sure your background does not have too many things
    • Ensure that you are the only person within frame
    • Make sure there is no direct light on the camera and it’s not dark either
    • Avoid any shadow being formed behind you

  • Why are my push-up reps not getting counted properly?
  • For push-ups, please ensure the below aspects are followed:
    • Perform push-ups keeping the mobile camera on your right or left side and not in front
    • Keep the mobile in landscape position
    • Go down fully ensuring your chest crosses the elbow and come back up fully till your elbow is straight
    • Throughout the workout, make sure that your complete body is within the frame
    • Make sure your background does not have too many things
    • Ensure that you are the only person within frame
    • Make sure there is no direct light on the camera and it’s not dark either
    • Avoid any shadow being formed on the floor

  • Why is my plank not counting the time properly?
  • For planks, please ensure the below aspects are followed:
    • Perform planks keeping the mobile camera on your right or left side and not in front
    • Keep the mobile in landscape position
    • Make sure that you are in plank position before the preparation countdown timer becomes 0
    • Throughout the workout, make sure that your complete body is within the frame
    • Make sure your background does not have too many things
    • Ensure that you are the only person within frame
    • Make sure there is no direct light on the camera and it’s not dark either
    • Avoid any shadow being formed on the floor

  • Why are my high knee reps not getting counted properly?
  • For high knees, please ensure the below aspects are followed:
    • Perform high knees keeping the camera on your left or right side and being slightly diagonal towards the camera
    • Keep the mobile in portrait position
    • Lift your left and right knees alternately ensuring that each time knee reaches your waist level
    • Throughout the workout, make sure that your complete body is within the frame
    • Make sure your background does not have too many things
    • Ensure that you are the only person within frame
    • Make sure there is no direct light on the camera and it’s not dark either
    • Avoid any shadow being formed behind you
