Areno Innovations Private Limited ("Areno", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and health-related information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your data when you use our Areno mobile app, website, SDK integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using Areno's Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using our Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to deliver and improve our Services. Depending on your use (individual user, physiotherapist, insurer, or corporate employee), we may collect:

• Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, age, gender, height, weight, and profile photo (optional).

• Account Data: Login credentials, device information, IP address, and usage logs.

• Activity Data: Exercise type, posture data, performance metrics, calories burned, repetitions, duration, and adherence data.

• Physiotherapy & Recovery Data: Information related to your home exercise programs (HEPs), recovery progress, and feedback from physiotherapists.

• Face Scan & Vitals Data: Optional facial scans used to estimate parameters like stress levels, energy, or heart rate — analyzed locally on your device and never stored on Areno's servers.

• Posture Analysis Data: Captured via computer vision to assess posture alignment and provide feedback. These scans are processed in real-time and are not recorded, uploaded, or shared.

• Payment Information: Payments made through Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or PhonePe are processed by those platforms. Areno does not collect or store your card or banking details.

• Consultation Data: Notes or communication shared between you and your physiotherapist within the Areno platform.

All collected data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers, subject to AWS privacy and security standards.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Enable registration, authentication, and secure access to our Services.

• Provide personalized fitness and physiotherapy exercise plans.

• Perform real-time posture and face scan analysis to improve user feedback.

• Allow physiotherapists to assign, track, and monitor home exercise programs.

• Support health insurers in offering wellness tracking and rewards programs.

• Improve Areno's AI algorithms and user experience.

• Send relevant notifications, offers, and updates (you can opt out anytime).

• Ensure compliance, security, and fraud prevention.

We do not use your face, video, or posture scan data for any purpose other than real-time analysis and feature functionality.

3. Data Privacy for Face & Posture Scans

• Areno's AI-based camera features (posture and face scans) process all video input locally on your device in real time.

• No images, videos, or biometric data are transmitted, stored, or shared with any third party.

• These scans are meant for wellness and posture awareness only, not for medical diagnosis or treatment.

• Users are advised to consult certified healthcare professionals for any clinical conditions.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data only in these cases:

• With your explicit consent, to share activity data with your physiotherapist or insurer.

• With authorized service providers (e.g., AWS, analytics providers) bound by confidentiality agreements.

• As required by law, regulatory authorities, or to protect Areno's legal rights.

5. Payments and Financial Data

All financial transactions on Areno are handled securely by PhonePe, Google Play Store, or Apple App Store.

• Areno does not have access to your credit/debit card details.

• Refunds, if any, are subject to the policies of the respective payment provider.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our Services.

You may delete your account and associated data anytime by:

• Using the "Delete My Account" option in the app, or

• Visiting https://www.areno.in/account_delete, or

• Emailing us at info@areno.in.

Upon deletion, all personal data is removed from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security Measures

Areno uses AES-256 encryption for all data, both in transit and at rest.

We employ secure authentication, firewalls, and regular audits to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse of data.

8. Health Data and Limitations

• Areno is a digital wellness and physiotherapy assistance platform, not a medical device for diagnosis or cure.

• All exercise plans, posture feedback, and fitness assessments are advisory and not a substitute for professional medical evaluation.

• Users should always consult their doctor or physiotherapist before starting new exercises, especially in case of medical conditions or pain.

9. Children's Privacy

The minimum age requirement and other eligibility criteria as specified on the Areno app’s official page on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, applicable to your country or region..

We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, it will be permanently deleted.

10. Updates to Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on www.areno.in with the "last updated" date. Your continued use after changes signifies acceptance.
